Matt joined the Dee Jay Network in 2005 because "it looks like it could be a lot of fun entertaining people and playing great music." Matt was right! He's been on the fast track and has learned how to "beat mix" and read the crowd well. As an "I.T. Guy" (information technology), Matt has been helping to improve the Dee Jay Network's music databasing system. "When I get involved with something, I like to be able to help take it to the next level," Matt says. "I don't just like to settle for mediocrity." That's good news, especially when it comes to Matt DJing your event. Expect to have fun with Matt at the mixer, or as he likes to be called, "Yett-Dog." Matt has had a variety of musical experience playing alto saxophone, guitar and drums in jazz, rock and concert bands throughout his school career. When he's not DJing, Matt enjoys "beaming" around in his car, playing with Mugsy, his miniature pincher dog, programming and creating and managing his own Dave Matthews Band web site "www.antsmarching.org." |
